The story behind this experience
The Soudah escarpment is usually something you look at — from the viewpoint, from the road, from behind a railing. This route exists so you can put your hands on it. A via ferrata is climbing with the ladder built in: you're clipped to a fixed cable the whole way, so the exposure is real but the risk is managed — certified guides, proper equipment, and a low practice section before anything serious. Then the traverse, with the Tihama plain far below, and a cable descent over the valley to finish. Asir Adventures runs it the way they run everything: built for people with no climbing experience at all. It's a Gharmish Original because nothing else here puts ordinary people on that wall.
